A | You will be asked to sign a consent form prior to surgery. The main complications that may occur are as follows:

  • Infection of the wound - 1% of cases
  • Severe bleeding requiring transfusion below 1%
  • Damage to surrounding organs - below 1%
  • Damage to kidney requiring open surgical intervention - below 1%
  • Stone fragments remaining in kidney below 5%
  • Readmission for pain control/bleeding below 1%
