Completed training in 1998 and spent 3 years at St Georges (Neurosurgical ITU, trauma and spinal surgery) and then West Middlesex University Hospital (Urology orthopaedics and trauma)
Appointed Broomfield Hospital 2002 with special interest regional, urology and trauma.
College Tutor for the College of Anaesthetists. In addition to local and hospital educational responsibilities he runs courses on Trauma Management, Acute Medicine, Regional anaesthesia, Appraisal and Assessment for Consultants.
His current role includes clinical, managerial and audit responsibilities for trauma within the trust and special interest in the management of elderly trauma. He has been involved in GreenLight Laser treatment at Broomfield since it began and has developed the anaesthetic protocols for achieving day case treatment in this traditionally inpatient cohort of patients using either low dose spinal or general anaesthesia.
Father of three, School Governor and local Preacher his hobbies include fly fishing, sailing and diving.
